SASSA Will Take Expert Services to Fernie Community

The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently viewing the Fernie 2 Local community Hall in Mpuluzi to render providers towards the community.

SASSA will probably be rendering solutions including new social grant applications, change of payment method, client care enquiries, as well as the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In an announcement, the agency claimed it's alarmed about the higher quantity of people relying on social grants for survival.
“The goal from the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to a substantial number of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“This is due to lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there's no completely functional office committed to service the area every day. The provider issue produced for intervention encounters a significant inflow of possible beneficiaries, which makes it difficult with the here Workplace to attend to all people who take a look at a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise a lot more methods to help the servicing of all customers and boost entry to Social Assistance services,” the agency said.
